Our Story
We started our 3 acre homestead, located in upstate New York 6 years ago, in hopes we could become more self sufficient and teach our (then) 3 year old daughter how to do this as well.
We raised animals, planted a large garden, and taught ourselves how to do a variety of things to achieve our goals.
In 2021, we began to go to local farmer’s markets to sell our vegetables, eggs and breads. In 2022, we purchased a food truck, to bring farm fresh, locally sourced food to our community! In November of 2022, we were able to open our restaurant, Ella’s Acres Homestead Kitchen!
